SoundSpotter is Open Source. It runs on Windows, OSX and Linux, and ships with C and C++ APIs for integration into computer-music environments such as Max/MSP and PureData. The canonical home for the code is the MPEG-7 C++ Audio Matching Tools (mp7c) project on SourceForge.

Building from source
The source lives in the mp7c Subversion tree on SourceForge. The SoundSpotter object
is a highly-optimized C++ package that cross-compiles on Windows, OSX and Linux, with FLEXT (by Thomas
Grill) providing the Max/MSP and PureData bridges. See our build notes
for a walk-through on OSX and Windows.
